Nestled in the canyon yet just minutes from Mulholland Drive and Laurel Canyon, this mid-century gem had seen numerous remodels over the years and was in poor condition when our clients purchased it with the intention of creating their dream family home. We were brought on to completely reimagine the space—tearing everything down to the studs, relocating the kitchen, and adding an additional bedroom and bathroom.
Every square inch of the nearly 3,400 sq. ft. home was carefully considered and reconfigured to suit their growing family and lifestyle.
The project, which spanned nearly two years, involved radical architectural changes akin to a ground-up construction. Our clients—a power couple in the entertainment and construction industries—enlisted our full-service design studio immediately after closing escrow, trusting us to modernize the home while respecting its mid-century roots.
Our full-service design package included extensive space planning, rendered floor plans, a full 3D model with elevations and renderings of all main spaces, custom millwork and cabinetry designs, and material selections for all FF&E throughout the house. We provided regular site visits and construction support, navigating supply chain challenges and unforeseen issues along the way. Beyond architecture and finishes, we curated and styled all furniture, art, and décor, creating a cohesive, personalized environment.
