“The Empire Strikes Back”

A Galactic Retreat for a Young Collector- Designing this bold and imaginative space for our 13-year-old Star Wars enthusiast was a true highlight—especially since we’re huge fans ourselves! Our client is an avid Star Wars LEGO builder and collector, so it was important to create a room that celebrated his passion while still feeling fresh, functional, and able to grow with him.

We kept the larger furniture pieces clean and neutral but gave them futuristic shapes for a subtle nod to the Star Wars universe. The custom nightstands feature integrated LED lighting that changes color—just like the lightsabers mounted on the wall. In one corner, we designed a custom L-shaped bookcase to showcase his extensive collection of figures and models. A black-and-white window treatment, sleek enough to impress the Empire itself, frames the space with drama.

To balance display with practicality, we included a dedicated workspace for homework and model building, as well as a fully designed open closet—per our client’s request to keep everything visible at a glance. The result is a room that perfectly blends fandom, function, and style, creating a galaxy all his own.
