“Gotta Catch Em’ All”

Designing themed children’s bedrooms is always a joy, and this project for our six-year-old client was no exception. Inspired by his favorite Pokémon characters, we set out to create a space that was both imaginative and practical. Because the room was small, we incorporated a loft-style bed to maximize functionality, leaving plenty of room below for homework and drawing.

Knowing that children’s interests evolve over time, we kept the larger furniture pieces neutral so they can grow with him. The Pokémon magic was layered in through artwork, bedding, a playful rug, and a bold red desk chair—elements that can easily be updated as his passions change. The result is a fun, functional bedroom that sparks creativity while remaining versatile for years to come.
