Palisades Dream

The Palisades Dream was a full-scale renovation of a 3,200 sq. ft. home located in The Summit, a prestigious gated community with breathtaking ocean views. This home, originally a 1990s builder-grade tract property, was completely transformed —inside and out—into a custom, contemporary retreat that reflects the refined tastes of its discerning owners: a renowned physician and a celebrated artist.

Our clients envisioned a clean, minimal, yet elevated design—effortless in appearance, but rich in thoughtful detail. A key goal was to open up the family room and formal living room, which were previously divided by heavy built-ins. We created a layout where both spaces remain distinct yet visually connected, allowing for greater interaction and flow.

The kitchen, once dark and heavy, was redesigned into a bright, airy space that draws the eye toward the expansive windows and ocean vistas beyond. Crisp white finishes, clean lines, and natural light bring a sense of calm and clarity to the heart of the home.
The primary suite was a top priority. We transformed the bathroom into a serene, modern coastal escape featuring silver travertine backsplash, freestanding tub, imported Murano glass sinks from Italy, and elegant Hansgrohe plumbing fixtures. The space was designed to evoke tranquility and warmth. The adjoining bedroom was crafted as a natural extension of the bath—calm, cohesive, and restful.

We also redesigned the fireplaces throughout the home with large-format tiles for a sleek, architectural look. Even the children’s spaces received thoughtful attention, including a playful and stylish bathroom for their son, designed in youthful shades of blue that reflect his adventurous spirit.

From concept to completion, this home was a study in balance—minimal yet inviting, contemporary yet timeless.
